By downloading or using the Tetratonics iOS application ("the App"), these terms will automatically apply to you – you should therefore make sure that you read them carefully before using the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. License to Use

We grant you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable license to use the software provided within the App on supported Apple iOS devices. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefit of the App as intended. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its underlying codebase.
Attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Translate the App into other languages or make derivative versions.
Use the App for commercial redistribution of its underlying analytical data structures.

The App itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Oliver Naumann.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, conditions, or representations, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

While we painstakingly designed the proprietary analytical engine to accurately calculate standard-compliant chord symbols, we do not guarantee the app will be error-free or that it will meet your specific educational or professional requirements.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your access or use of or inability to access or use the App, whether or not the damages were foreseeable and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

5. Standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement

By using the App, you are also bound by the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs the use of apps downloaded from the Apple App Store, except where explicitly superseded by these Terms of Use.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update our Terms of Use from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Use on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
